Bruschetta is a delicious and easy recipe – perfect for your summer party! All you need is a few simple ingredients (including a few fresh summer tomatoes) and you have a great appetizer for any occasion.
What You’ll Need:
Makes about 8-10 pieces:
1 baguette, cut in half length-wise
2-3 diced garlic cloves
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 1/2 cups minced roma tomatoes
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
Cut the French Baguette into slices. We prefer to leave the bread as is, but if you like your bread toasted feel free to pop the pieces in the oven ahead of time for a few minutes until they begin to brown. Add all of the ingredients to a medium bowl and mix well. If you are making this a few hours ahead of the party, make sure to cover and stick in the fridge. Once everything has been mix together, spoon the mixture onto your bread slices. Add a little balsamic and fresh basil to garnish, and enjoy!
