October is quickly approaching and it is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Party Host Helpers proudly gives back during this time in order to help raise funds for this important cause. We are donating gift certificates for raffles for fundraising events across the country. All you have to do is reach out and we will send you one. In addition to the gift cards, we have outlined below some of our favorite ideas and tips for Breast Cancer Fundraisers.
Go all out with the theme
Having a theme enables a lot of things to fall into place. Obvious themes for breast cancer fundraisers are “Think Pink” or “Go Pink” which can mean a pink signature cocktail and stunning pink decor. Ask guests to wear their favorite pink outfit and go all out!

Of course, having pink finger foods is basically a must. We love this Pinterest board which has fabulous ideas from pink cinnamon buns to fresh watermelon and feta appetizers.
Cocktails
Like we mentioned above, having a signature cocktail that is pink is sure to be a huge success for this event. This article outlines ten different options, but we’re a big fan of Cupid’s Hope because it presents well in the glass and is great for October. Keep in mind that you can change the name of the cocktail to fit your theme exactly! Plus, signature cocktails at any event help to alleviate lines at the bar, which is always a good thing.
Decor
Since your theme is a color, you have many options for decor and how to incorporate it. You can keep it simple with pink napkins and balloons, or take it a step further with a breast cancer ribbon balloon sculpture which you can make yourself or purchase from a local balloon company.
