Father’s Day Party Favs from Across the States!

When you think of a Father’s Day meal, you probably think burgers, hot dogs, and beer. By the time Father’s Day rolls around the weather is nice enough to grill outside, and warm enough to enjoy a cold, crisp beer. Which is why Party Host Helpers has outlined some unique beers and burger options from around the country, highlighting some of our favorite cities. See below for new drinks and burger topping to try, and when it comes to hiring someone to serve the burgers and crack open the beers, give Party Host Helpers a call!

Austin, TX: We get so excited about Austin East Ciders because they come in so many refreshing flavors and are still light enough that you can have more than one without feeling bloated. They have a ton of flavors to choose from, all crafted in Austin, but we think this Father’s Day, the “Hopped” will be the most popular!

Washington, D.C.: This seasonal American Red Ale from HellBender Beer is only available for a limited time so stock up for June 16th! The beer has flavors of honey and toffee flavors from the malts and is a crowd pleaser for sure!

New York, NY: When celebrating NY hotdogs, you know what we’re going to say, right? This classic NY style dog is traditionally topped with a spicy brown mustard and either sauerkrautor onions sautéed with tomato paste. Get the recipe here.

Philadelphia, PA: If you know Philly you know one thing it’s famous for is cream cheese. It is a versatile condiment and we haven’t met a dish we didn’t like it with! Which is why you have got to try this burger. Cream cheese AND fried onions? Yes, please.

Virginia Beach, VA: The Pleasure House Brewing Co. is exactly that, a pleasure! They are located in Virginia Beach and have amazing beers that are brewed in house and can be enjoyed right on the spot, or taken home in growlers and cans. Our pick for this Father’s Day is the sour ale called “Jumping the Shark.” Described as “Milkshake sour with lactose, oats, apricots and strawberries” you will regret not giving this one a try.

San Diego, CA: In California, the avocado reigns supreme, so you KNOW we’re going to put it on this next burger. Paired with onion jam and white cheddar, your guests will be saying “Yum!” with each bite.

Phoenix, AZ:  The sonoran dog is famous in Phoenix and throughout  Arizona . It is a grilled, bacon-wrapped hot dog popped into a hearty, round, steamed bolillo roll, and covered in pinto beans, chopped tomatoes, diced raw onion, creamy avocado, a bit of mayo, some spicy jalapeños, and shredded cheese. Pretty much everything delish on one hotdog.

Charlotte, NC:

Famous from the Irish Hills Black Angus Pub Burger, this Southern Prime “Crunch” Burger is topped with hand-cut chips. Burger and chips? It’s a match made in heaven.

Pittsburg, PA: Pittsburgh Brewing CO., has been in business for over 150 years and we can see why! These amazing beers are made locally and come in a variety of flavors. Our favorite is I.C. Light Mango. With the hint of mango, it is perfect for the start of summer!

South Jersey, NJ: The Double Nickel Brewing Company has plenty of tasty beers for our staff to serve at your Father’s Day party! Their Vienna Style Lager is described as “malt forward” and is light and refreshing.
